Telemarketing...
U meet all sorts of funny people over the phone...
Here's my script:
Me: Good morning.. Can you please put me to the HR department?
Receptionist: May I know what is this regarding?
Me: Regarding recruitment.. (Receptionist puts thru...)
*Sometimes u get KPO receptionist who doesnt put u thru.. instead keeps probing wat is it abt... arGh! (u are not the one i wanna talk to!)
Me: Hi. I am Shu Fen calling from XXX, a job agency. Are you the one to speak to regarding recruitment?
HR: Yes.
Me: Juz to find out, do you work with job agencies with regards to your recruitment needs?
HR's response:
1) NO. We do not require your service (slams down phone)
2) Do I have to pay? If yes, i don't want the service.
*like duh! Even if you put an ad in the papers, oso muz pay rite? if not how my company survive??hahas.. (of course i dun tell them this.. =P)
3) Others just keep quiet.. listen to me rattle on n on for like 3mins.. n says " i am not interested.." arGh!
N after facing so many rejections n already feeling bored n drained.. i still have to maintain my chirpy voice when i cold call the nx list of clients..
Well.. Working life is boring... hahas..
