Gong Xi Fa Cai !!

Spent Chinese New Year at Msia as usual.. this time had the chance to go Malacca to shop! hahas.. there's a New Year sale over there.. so for us S'poreans.. things are like very cheap especially after their 50% or 70% discounts.. hahas.. all of us were like smiling all the way... =)

Came back ytd... then went dearie's grandparents' hse bai nian.. hahas.. nice steamboat dinner! =)

Megafest '06 is finally over.. except for certain hiccups & some errors here n there.. the event's pretty much a success! yippee! hooray! hahas.. 1st time me n roomie chairing a big scale hall event..

The tough times when both of us go ard sourcing for groceries, prizes.. behaving like aunties in NTUC, Sheng Song... lugging many plastic bags up the taxis or SBS buses.. The stress level which made us curse & swear at times.. The endless walks here n there the Hall 9 carpark during the event itself to make sure everything's gg fine.. etc.. etc.. etc.. everything unforgetable i guess..

I am glad the whole event's a success.. special thanx to all my com members & those who helped in one way or another.. =)

Haiz.. dangerous contact sport..

He attempted to teach me rugby.. i learned like 2 rugby skills during the hols?? hahahas.. but at least it made me sweat when we played at the small area..

i think the sport's cool (minus all the dangerous physical contacts which u make on the opponents).. hahas.. esp after watching our hall played against Hall -ahem- last Fri.. damn Hall -ahem-.. think sooo many of us are cursing them to hell lo.. esp Jersey no. 4!! hahas.. lucky we qualify for the quarters too.. hope Hall 9's rugby team cruised their way to the finals yeah.. (he'll be soo happy if that happens) hehe! jia you dear n ur team!! =)

Spent Xmas eve gg down to support Hall choir... at Meritus Mandarin & Copthorne King..
Nice! They brought more festive spirit to those dining in the hotel... hee! N dear was part of the choir.. falalalas.. =)

After that, the 5 of us went Cafe Cartel Marina for dinner... we ate at almost 10? & the serving was soo pathetically small.. not enuf for dinner!!

Walked along Esplanade... lots of pple spraying those stuff on each other... see-ing them running ard.. hahahas.. think all of us oso quite old for such stuff liao.. =P lucky Esplanade area aint that crowded..

Took lotsa silly pics along the way.. hahas.. i think it's quite funny.. so posted them.. ha! hope u peeps dun mind eh? =P

I finally watched finished the korean drama - Full House!! Very very nice!!

The house that approximately cost US$1m to build.. fantabulously nice!! N it overlooks the beach! =) puurfect~ The lead actor & actress.. Popular Rain & Song Hui Qiao..
The scenes below.. when they sit ard the 105 stalks of roses which he gave her cos it was stated in clause #105 in their fake marriage contract that he has to give her a stalk of flower every Wed :: when he taught her how to cycle & they were so tired at the end of the day & rested on each other :: when he drew a ring on her finger for he thought she misplaced hers ::

okies.. i still dun find him shuai after watching the show.. except when he shows the cheeky smile.. still quite cute ba~ ha! =P

Anyway.. the show is really sweet & funny.. again recommended! heh! it's not the usual korean cry-till-the lead dies- show.. hahas.. & it's happy ending~ yeah! i lurve happy endings~ happily ever afters... =)

This is a fantabulously gd book! hahas.. in the words of Mr Tan 'a book which can keep my gal reading is a gd book.. rite?'... hahahas.. he sums it all.. =P i've not read a proper novel for god knows how long.. This whole story's in the form of dialogue & it's really witty.. hahas.. definitely recommended! =)

Anyway, went out shopping wif kai & shan today.. feet pain sia.. though i think we didnt really walk alot oso.. & we concluded maybe we are getting old.. boohoo!

Saw nice DKNY watches...

We had our hands on this arcade machine... the kind with winning chances as slim as hitting jackpot! but this time.. we wanted to win dat Nokia hp.. n all of us spent like close to 30bucks in total on dat damn machine!! argh.. n we confirmed it's being programmed to NOT let us win since it obviously skips the number when we are near the stage to win.. hahas.. but a great way to kill time.. n as Sci students previously, we even strategised how dat machine works.. how it alternates between getting a positive & negative number... hahahas.. cmi~

Finally finished my company law assignment...
Took me nearly a whole week..
To read up on all the relevant chaps.. compose an essay.. meeting the word limit.. editing..
wat a waste of time.. haiz..

I've not taken much of a break during the recess wk..
N sch's starting again tml..
the piling projects.. assignments.. the various deadlines to meet..
N not forgetting to start mugging for the exams...
Argh!!!

Was surfing the net earlier when I came across how beautiful Hokkaido was..

No time to blog ytd.. so this entry's dated like this... heh!

Had a pleasant surprise from him yesterday...
He made a video of both of us...
all the photos we took ever since sch started.. together with 'Top of the World'...
I smiled as I viewed the video clip... =)

Went IMM wif him, Henry & Sheryl in the evening..
Had fun shopping at Daiso.. the 'everything-for-2bucks' shop is cool!
N he bought me a sunflower stand! (photo below)
Ha! A fake sunflower of course.. but at least it wun wither & die..
N it's standing nice & tall in my room! heh!

Found our fav Chupa Chups at Giant..
N they did sell them in a huge tub of 150 for 32bucks!
Was contemplating whether to get dat..
hahas.. decided eventually that a normal pack of 10 will do.. =)

Before IMM, we drop by JP Toy R Us again..
ahas!! we got another 3 of the Disney characters.. lucky!!

Celebrated Elaine's Bday today...
Went Suntec Kbox & Cafe Cartel for lunch..
Finally.. after a long time..
The whole clique - 7 of us turn up!

Hahas.. n we got our dwarfs today.. Yippee!
As wat they said, by democracy.. we drew lots for the 7 dwarfs..
Jas & Shan wanted Sleepy..
But... hahas! I ended up getting it..
Then again, all the 7 dwarfs are sooo cute!!
it doesnt really matter who gets wat.. =)

N KTV is freaking cheap!!
Dunno whether they counted wrongly..
4 of us sang.. only cost us $19.90 in total..
dat's like not even 5 bucks per person...
The K lunch package.. hahas..

Had a great time wif the gals.. As usual..
In another 2 wks' time will be Ping's bday..

Been busy since the start of Jul...
With Senior's Camp.. preparations for FOC.. FOC itself.. start of sch..
hahas.. wanted to blog abt FOC.. post the pics..
budden received the files quite late..
now abit funny to post it liao.. heh!

Sch's been fine.. Quite a slack timetable i wld say..
But wif lotsa breaks in between... sian.. 2hrs, 4hrs, 6hrs!
sometimes really dunno wat to do in between..
Lucky got Jieying oso.. hahas.. we juz chat n stoned!
But i guess i wun get to enjoy such free breaks when all the presentations start coming in.. argh!
